My town’s sustainability advisory group has asked me to head up a Food & Agriculture Task Force. The first thing I’m doing is setting up a focus group so that we can discover what matters to my neighbors in the town of New Castle in the realm of food and agriculture.
We have a cafe right in the center of town called LOCAL which was started by a Chappaqua resident, Adam Strahl. I popped in and asked him if he’d be OK with using his place for this focus group and he said “sure!”
So here’s the details:

Come and share your concerns and ideas about how we can address food & agriculture issues in New Castle. We’ll brainstorm about opportunities and challenges surrounding food and agriculture in our town. Ideas for educational outreach and potential projects will be discussed.
