We tell ourselves it’s not going to happen this year. Starting December out with the best of intentions, we tell ourselves that we’ll be “good” when it comes to the holidays: no overindulging in food, we’ll exercise religiously.
And every year, after the holidaze have come and gone, we look at the scale in January and we’re not happy with what we see.
How will this year be any different? It can be if you are willing to think out of the box.
Einstein’s definition of insanity: its trying to do the same thing over and over and expecting a different result! Its time to stop beating yourself up and its time to start looking at other ways of dealing with holiday weight gain.
This month, I will be sharing some interesting tidbits of information with you that is designed to help you start thinking outside the box when it comes to optimal weight. Like the 30 Soups in November and the 31 Healthy Hints in December, I plan to write a post every day in January starting tomorrow.
