Downward dog by Osi

A good yoga class is priceless. I recently discovered a lovely woman named Osi, who lives and teaches in a beautiful space that is within walking distance of my house.  I asked her to guest blog about the most important yoga based healthy hint for this time of year.  Here’s what she had to share:

Breathe!
The breath what is been a great support for me in  keeping  me feeling full, rejuvenated and clear.
I start my morning and practice with 10 min every day of quiet meditation and bringing  the awareness to the breath. The second thing i practice is a 3 min breath of fire. I feel clear and warmed up with that practice.
I finish with 1 min of one posture- asana yoga down ward facing dog to keep my joints lubricate and fascia warm.
Osi Mizrahi-herstik has been teaching yoga for the last 10 years and practicing for more then 20 years. She is a certified Anusara teacher and recently added to her study Kundalini training. You can learn more about Osi and her work by clicking here.
